Luiz Carlos Trabuco Speaks Out On The Direction Of The Brazilian Economy

Overdue

She further noted that the privatization of Electrobas was long overdue. Ms. Landau pointed out that there was no political will to speed up the privatization agenda. However, she said that privatization was not a choice. The wind is already blowing at high speed, and that stakeholders had better prepare for the forthcoming change. She also faulted PSDP for failing to defend its legacy for the years it has been in existence.

The Chairman of the Bradesco Board has served Bradesco Group for over four decades. He became the president of Bradesco in 2009 when the group had started showing some signs of lethargy. It had been relegated to the second or third position in the ranking of private banks in Brazil. Mr. Trabucco will be remembered for having reinvented the magic at Bradesco and helped the group to regain is the leadership of the private banks. The legendary executive is coming to his retirement soon. The group has already chosen his successor. Mr, Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi believes that the choice to appoint Octavio De Lazari as the next Bradesco president is the best decision the Selection Committee has made in the recent past. He acknowledges that Octavio is an experienced officer with the interest of Bradesco at heart. He confessed having had a cordial working relationship with the 39-year-old Lazari. Octavio De Lazari, like Trabuco, has climbed through the ranks to be chosen as the next Bradesco President. He beat a host of candidates who mostly included Vice Presidents of the group.
